All concession & pension card holders are bulk-billed.
All other consultations incur a "gap" fee which must be paid.
A current Medicare card must be produced at each visit.  After seeing your Doctor, you will be required to pay the "gap".  Centrelink concession card holders must produce a current concession card to be bulk billed.

An invoice will be generated and claim form sent to Medicare. Medicare will forward a cheque made payable to the Clinic or Doctor, which must be forwarded to the Practice once received.

If you wish to pay your account in full, our new claiming system allows you to receive your rebate instantly! Speak to our friendly reception staff to find out how.

New Patient - $32

Standard Consultation - $32

Medical Procedure - $32

We don’t have a new patient first visit fee. It’s all one standard fee of $32 unless you are on a health care / pension card, if that is the case it is bulk billed.

Billing policy for Dr Mugford

Please note Dr Mugford has a separate gap his is $38 for a standard consultation. Dr Mugford will bulk bill patients that have a concession / pension card if they are between the ages of 0 years to 16 years & 65 years and over. If they are outside of those ages they and on a concession / pension card they will need to pay a $15 gap

We realise in some cases these fees may cause genuine financial hardship. Please feel free to discuss this with your doctor. Taxi, vehicle, insurance and sports medicals etc, in general, are not covered by Medicare, and a fee will apply.  Settlement of your account is expected at the time of consultation.

WorkCover and Motor Vehicle Accident accounts are ultimately the patient’s responsibility. Please ensure your WorkCover claim is submitted and you notify us of your claim number. For Motor Vehicle Accident claims, please identify and advise us of your Compulsory Third Party insurer as soon as possible – details on how to find your insurer can be found at http://www.ctp.sa.gov.au/insurers.html
